Biography

University Partnerships Programme (UPP) is the UK’s leading provider of on campus managed university accommodation.

Since 1998, we have been working with a wide range of university partners to supply risk-free solutions for the funding, design, build, and operation of high-quality academic and residential facilities. These range from new developments through to estate transfers and the refurbishment of existing premises. Schemes are delivered at no cost to universities, are off balance sheet and at the end of the lease are handed back to the institution in their entirety.

By using our Eco Residence construction model, UPP has gained a strong reputation for providing high quality, sustainable accommodation that will prove a positive asset to universities for many years to come.

Building on the success of UPP Residential Services, we have further diversified our offering to provide a complete asset management service. Where required, this will include academic and support facilities as well as student housing and will be tailored to meet the needs of partners’ individual estates.

UPP is owned and actively supported by funds managed by Barclays Private Equity, part of Barclays Capital.
