Waterman has delivered a range of education projects from inspection and renovations of individual school buildings to complete major developments at leading Universities around the world.
We are able to provide a full range of engineering and technical support services and the company is experienced in the particular procedures and requirements of education sector clients.
We have been involved in Private Finance projects with our commercial expertise utilised by clients to help attract funding for educational schemes.
Waterman has the range of skills and services, combined with an enviable depth of education project delivery experience to help make our clients’ aspirations a reality.
The 1990's expansion in the education sector brought new engineering opportunities to the design world and we have provided services to design, expand and enhance a variety of Britain’s schools, colleges, universities and other places of learning for local authorities, government departments and educational establishments.
Waterman is currently involved in designing new schools across the UK as part of the Government’s educational investment programme and is working on five schools as part of the Barnsley Schools PFI project, with eight schools already constructed and handed over. An extension to Parkside School for the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, two new schools at Harrow and an extension to Prince Henry School in Otley for Leeds City Council are complete. Higher educational experience includes work for the University of Dundee, the University of Hertfordshire and Imperial College, London.
