Bucks building back on top

Buckinghamshire New University-owned venue Missenden Abbey Conference Centre has been awarded five stars for its high standard of food service and hygiene from Chiltern District Council. This will be the forth consecutive year the venue has received the award.

Missenden Abbey is currently the only conference centre and one of only 39 businesses within the Chiltern District Council area to have achieved the five star accreditation

The Council’s Environmental Health Manager concluded that Missenden Abbey ‘provides an excellent performance level’, and that it ‘has an excellent level of compliance with food hygiene legislation and recommended best practice guidance’.

Missenden Abbey Conference Centre was originally founded as a working monastery in 1133. The Abbey now host corporate events, meetings, training and team building, presentations and conferences, as well as weddings and private functions within 20 fully equipped conference rooms and 57 en-suite bedrooms.
