Higher Education in Further Education Conference 2010: A New Agenda?

03/17/2010 - 00:00
03/17/2010 - 23:59
Etc/GMT

When: Wednesday 17 March
Where: London

This conference, organised by the Association of Colleges, AoC, will take place on Wednesday 17 March and have a clear policy focus. The HE Framework, the Skills Strategy, reports from UKCES and CBI all propose changes which will impact on the delivery of HE in FE. A forthcoming general election heightens the significance of these documents - and puts HE in FE in the spotlight

* Hear at first hand from government and Shadow Ministers. What will the next administration offer HE in FE?
* Debate approaches to teaching and learning with representatives from private providers of HE. What might we learn?
* Explore the FDAP process. What are the opportunities that arise from successful application for FDAP?
* Contribute to a discussion about the role of HE in FE in significantly changed HE landscape.

Full details of the Higher Education in Further Education Conference 2010 are now available.
