Liberty Living acquires buildings from UNITE

Liberty Living as asset manager for Brandeaux Student Funds has acquired nine buildings from UNITE. The buildings in Cardiff, Preston, Southampton and Stoke represent a total of 3,810 beds.
The acquisition will make Liberty Living the leading provider of private student accommodation in Cardiff with the above residences added to existing stock of Cambrian Point and Severn Point to give a total of 2,530 beds. The other residences acquired will give Liberty Living a strong presence in three new markets; Southampton (993 beds), Preston (862 beds) and Stoke (345 beds).
Liberty Living is pleased that the portfolio has nomination or referral agreements with a variety of academic institutions – University of Glamorgan, Cardiff University College of Medicine, University of Wales in Cardiff, Southampton Solent University, Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust, University of Central Lancashire and University of Staffordshire.
